FAQs

What kind of support do you offer parents?

I offer personalized behavioral and educational support for parents of young children. This includes guidance on understanding and addressing big emotions that feel overwhelming, creating supportive home learning environments (including homeschool consultations), navigating special education and IEPs, and collaborating effectively with your child's teachers and therapists. My goal is to empower you with practical strategies that work for your family.

What makes your approach unique?

My approach is unique because it's rooted in both extensive professional expertise and real-life parenting experience. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), a former education specialist, and a mom myself, I understand the daily joys and challenges you face. I blend evidence-based strategies with a deep sense of empathy and practicality, offering insights not just on what to do, but how to do it with grace.

Do you work directly with children?

My primary focus is on empowering parents and caregivers. While I occasionally observe children as part of an assessment or consultation to better understand their needs, I do not provide long-term, direct one-on-one intervention for children (anymore). My service model is designed to equip you with the tools and knowledge to support your child effectively in their natural environment.

What are your rates?

My flat hourly rate for virtual consultations is $150/hour. For in-person consultations within the SF Bay Area, the rate is $180/hour, which accounts for travel time and expenses. For travel beyond the immediate San Jose area, an additional fee may apply, discussed beforehand. I believe in making support accessible, so prices are negotiable depending on individual needs and situations.

How do I get started?

The best way to begin is by scheduling a free initial chat. This no-obligation conversation allows us to discuss your specific concerns, determine if my services are the right fit for your family, and explore what support might look like. You can book a chat through my contact page!

Do you work with schools or other programs?

Yes, I do! My background includes classroom experience as an education specialist and leadership roles in non-public schools. I provide professional development, teacher mentorship, and program consultations for schools and organizations seeking to enhance their inclusive practices, behavior management strategies, and overall support for children. If your child attends a program you think could benefit, feel free to refer them to me!
