As a BCBA mom and former special education teacher, my goal is to be your partner in navigating the unique journey of raising young children. I offer collaborative and hands-on consultations to empower you with the strategies and insights needed to address learning, developmental, and behavioral challenges your child and/or family may be facing. I believe that family education and support are absolutely vital for a child's lasting growth and success. While my primary focus is on supporting families with young children, my experience extends across all ages, from infancy through young adulthood. Whether your child is learning at home, attending a traditional school, or participating in a specialized program, I'm here to provide compassionate and effective support for their behavioral and educational needs.

My services are tailored to your family and may include:

• Creating Effective Home Learning Environments: Guidance on homeschooling, environmental planning, curriculum development, and practical ways to track your child's progress.

• Understanding Your Child's Behavior: Comprehensive behavioral assessments and personalized intervention plans designed to help you navigate big emotions and foster positive development.

• Navigating Educational Systems: Support with educational advocacy, understanding your child's rights, and assistance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to ensure their needs are met.

• Collaborating with Your Child's Team: Working alongside teachers, therapists, and other professionals to create a unified and effective support system for your child.

For Schools & Programs Supporting Your Child

My background includes hands-on classroom experience as an education specialist. I've also been a part of leadership teams for multiple non-public schools and have independently provided staff-wide trainings for a handful of public schools. This experience gives me unique insight into how schools operate and what it takes to create supportive learning environments. My work with schools ultimately aims to benefit your child by enhancing the quality of their educational experience.

I offer services to schools and educational programs, which include:

• Professional Development & Staff Training: Equipping educators and staff with strategies for inclusive practices, effective behavior management, student accommodations, and strong IEP development.

• Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) & Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP): Collaborating with school teams to develop data-driven plans for students with complex behavioral needs.

• Teacher Mentorship & Classroom Support: Providing guidance and practical strategies to help teachers create optimal learning environments.

Sometimes, the recreational or community programs your child participates in might not quite meet their unique needs, or perhaps they could be even more inclusive and effective. As the Founder & Executive Director of a nonprofit organization dedicated to inclusive, recreational arts programs, I have direct experience in creating supportive and engaging environments for all children.
